I was originally set for the purchase of a Panasonic, but the refusal to admit blacks to the growing black and fluctuating distracted me. Why give money to a company that does not cause problems with their products to admit? I purchased an LG BD390 after reading stellar reviews on Blu-rayand this led me on the review of their TVs. I joined the AVS forum and spent months reading posts and topics for most makes and models available. My consensus is that the owners of the LG had the slightest problem. Samsung and Panasonic have hum problems often black. LG seems to be the loser, I'm really out to impress their customers. The TV, I love the image and Blu-ray discs look fantastic. I can imagine that appear as solid on the LG 60PK950,But I wanted the trappings that have offered the 950 Even if the filter TruBlack make a difference.
